The Montreal Studio of French game developer Ubi Software, today unveiled two new screenshots of Farcry2, the company’s latest DX10 game, which will be on the self for sell at Q3 2008.
Montreal studio said Far Cry 2 was a typical DirectX 10 games, supported current DirectX 10 graphics cards. Montreal studio said that they added many exclusive DirectX 10 effects in the game, such as the African grassland vegetation and wind, the interaction of the atmosphere, players can also smash the vegetation by firing, water and gas and rainfall can also add special effects for the fire or the smoke in the game.
In addition, we were informed that, Farcry2 was integrated with the day and the night alternation subsystem; the day will last for about 4 hours in the game.
